Hi! My name is Mary Nelson and I am an Early Childhood Special Education teacher. This is my 16th year teaching at Miller! I have three beautiful daughters: a HS freshman, a 6th grader and an almost 3-year-old who wishes she was old enough to come to preschool! I love to play tennis, hike and spend way too much money on Amazon!! I am excited to get to know your family this school year and learn together with you!

I am thrilled to join the Miller Preschool team as an Early Childhood Special Educator this year! My daughter attended Miller Preschool 2016-2018. I can't say enough about the amazing educators at Miller! She is now entering 2nd grade and I have a Kindergartener as well. I have worked in both JeffCo and DPS for 9 years and recently attained my Masters in Autism Spectrum Disorders. I look forward to teaming with your family this year!

I'm the oldest of 3, my sister is 22, and brother is 20. I recently got a mountain bike and am getting into it more! I love running, staying active, and before COVID I played in 4 indoor soccer leagues. During the summer I love to be out on the lake boating and doing water activities. I grew up camping so being outside and in nature and camping is one of my favorite things to do. In my off time you can find me doing any of those activities or doing homework for my Master's which I'll finish in the spring for Early Childhood Special Education with my Autism Certificate.
